I have asked a few Chinese friends why they use Baidu rather than Google in China and this is what they said:<\/p>\n
– The search results are generally the same<\/p>\n
– Google doesn’t always work, it might work one moment and stop the next.<\/p>\n
– Google is always slower than Baidu.<\/p>\n
But what I found interesting was that when they was searching in English they always used Google.<\/p>\n
If google wasn’t blocked and worked perfectly in China, would it gain marketshare or is it too late ?<\/p>\n
